<p>Organic wastes and/or sewage sludge is turned into compost in several composing chambers in an enclosed housing. Travelling grates, arranged above each other, take the material in a thin layer in a slow zigzag path in counterflow with air through the composting device in ten days. This device can process large amounts of composting raw material. It consists of simple mechanical parts and operates trouble free over long periods.</p> |
