The upright portable and stationary hopper is for dry cement, or plaster, having a funnel-shaped bottom portion tapering to an outlet, and supports movable between the travel and erected positions. The top part (1a) at least is of square cross-section. It can be a cube, and the bottom portion (1b) can be pyramid-shaped. The design allows the most economical handling between the filling point and the building site etc., since the maximum use is made of the lorry capacity, and no tipping mechanism on the latter, or lifting tackle on site, is needed to erect it.
