Geared motor for passenger and goods lifts - has driving shaft of gears coupled to rotor shaft by conical spring and groove

The motor consists of a stepping down gear train with a fixed transmission ratio, and a motor mounted by a flange on the gear train case. The rotor shaft is coaxially put on the gear driving shaft which projects from the case. Coupling between the gear train (10) driving shaft (16) and the motor rotor (40) is provided by a spring and slot (50) with matching conical surfaces. The conicity ensures strict coaxiality of the two members, without however, any friction forces between them. The angle of the cone is between 3 deg. and 15 deg.
