PURPOSE:To make an actuator adaptable to a wide range of load and make a variable discharge hydraulic pump capable of multi-stage and continuous control, by controlling the liquid discharged from the pump. CONSTITUTION:A variable discharge hydraulic pump, for example, a vane pump 2 which can vary its discharge by displacing a cum ring 6 through a sliding unit 14, is equipped with an actuator 46 for transferring a control mechanism 44 in a discharge passage 60. A signal valve 55 is also connected to the passage 60 through an intermediate passage 69 and to a control unit 81 which controls the displacement of the sliding unit 14 through a control passage 73. When the signal valve 55 is switched to another control unit 82 through another control passage 79 for interrupting the communication between the passage 60, 73, the control unit 82 is in charge of controlling the displacement of another sliding unit 26. |
