<p>Tunnel kiln has a series of trolleys for fire ware which pass through it. The combustion passage near its inlet or outlet has a reversible fan arrangement coupled with an expansion chamber. In the warming up zone, heating units with outlet slots discharge into the combustion passage. this has a zig-zag pattern. It can be heated by liq. or gaseous fuel. Indirect heaters can be coupled into the kiln. It should be at least partially heated by waste materials. The kiln or furnace is for firing ceramic ware such as tiles. the system allows the waste gas and heat from the refuse incineration to be used by burning waste gases contg. toxic components to give a combustion process with good, high heat flux convective heat transfer.</p> |
