<p>The drive has a rotatable switching arm firmly connected to the movable contact. A force tending to open the contact is applied to the arm from an energy store. A closing energy store applies a closing force to the arm during switch closing, which is greater than the opening force. A locking device holds the switching arm in the closed position, and is released by an opening pulse element. The locking device (10) is mounted on the closing arm (9) which is operated by the closing energy store (2) and (9) which is operated by the closing energy store (2) and rotatable w.r.t. the switching arm (5). The closing arm is locked by a latch (24). The locking device (10) holds together the closing arm (9) and the switching arm (5) during the closing operation when the switch is closed.</p> |
