<p>The mechanism fits valved sacks over the spout of a machine. It fills the sacks with free-flowing material, and it has a loading arm with a suction cup connected to a vacuum source gripping them at the valve end. The arm (5) has, in addition to the suction cup (25), a clamping mechanism (31), engaging with the sack (6) in the transfer position on the same side as the cup. This works with an abutment (32), brought against the other side of the sack, to ensure that the sack is properly gripped as it is transferred to the spout.</p> |
