<p>PURPOSE:To effectively control the sheet crown and sheet shape, and to improve the product quality and yield, by changing the sheet crown, and by previously operating the influence of this changed sheet grown, and by utilizing its result for setting the control variable for the sheet crown. CONSTITUTION:The arithmetic unit 11 operates the control variable for the sheet crown of the third stand S3, and the resulted signal controls the pressure of the double chocked work roll bender 7; hereby, the sheet crown is controlled. The influence of the sheet crown variable at the third stand S3, to be given to the sheet crown on the entry side of the sixth stant S6, is previously operated by the arithmetic unit 13 depending on the value obtained from the arithmetic unit 11; hereby, the sheet crown on the entry side of the sixth stand S6 is obtained; this value together with the signal from the rolling load detector 17 are given to the shape controller 12 which then sets the shape variable at the sixth stand S6 and con trols the pressure of the double chocked work roll bender 8. Further, depending on the signal from the shape detector 18, the fine adjustment is carried out on the sheet shape.</p> |
