<p>PURPOSE:To carry out the stable control of the tension, by moving upward the looper roll at a previously set speed, and by controlling the driving torque of the looper after the value of interstand tension comes into the previously set allowable range. CONSTITUTION:The oil pressure is supplied from the servo-valve 8 connected to the hydraulic source 10, to the hydraulic swing motor 9 for driving the looper 11. The oil pressure is connected to the oil pressure detectors 1, 2, whose output is connected to the servo-valve 8, through the differential pressure detector 3, the device 4 receiving the driving torque of the hydraulic swing motor 9, the measuring device 5 for the value of interstand tension between the stands 13, 14, the device 6 for operating the deviation of the measured tension value from the previously set aim value of tension, and the acceleration circuit 7 for the leading of the looper. Correspondingly to the magnitude of the measured tension value, and depending on the deviation of the measured tension value from the aim tension value, the looper is moved upward at the maximum speed to generate the maximum flow rate, and then, the tension control is stabilized.</p> |
