O,O-dimethyl (or diethyl)-O-(2,2-dichloro vinyl) ester of thino phosphoric acid (I; R = Me or Et), useful as acaricides or insecticides, were prepd. by treating O,O-dimethyl (or diethyl) ester of 1-hydroxy-2,2,2-trichloroethane thiono phosphoric acid(II) with equiv. soln. of alkaline metal alkoholate, alkaline metal hydroxide, or alkaline metal carbonate at-20≦̸C-100≦̸C.
