PURPOSE:To simplify programs and hardware by providing a flag register to store carry information generated at an arithmetic operation time and a flag register to be used for decision of branch instructions. CONSTITUTION:Flag register 51 to store carry information only for arithmetic operation and flag register 52 for decision of branch instructions are provided. Here, the output of arithmetic unit 8 is supplied to the D input of register 51 consisting of a FF through gate 12, and held data contents are returned to unit 8 from the Q terminal. Further, the output of unit 8 is supplied to the D terminal of register 52 consisting of a FF through gate 53, and branch information of the output of +1 means 18 of L register 15 is supplied to the D terminal of register 52 through gate 19, and information to select information to be stored in program counter 2 is outputted according to the information above. Thus, programs and hardware can be simplified by providing two kinds of flag register. |
