<p>Title of the Invention STATIC CONVERTOR A static convertor with DC terminals for connection to a load object with a variable electromotive force includes a control arrangement for controlling the direct voltage of the convertor between maximum and minimum values, an arrangement for controlling the minimum value being connected to and dependent on the output of a sensing device which senses a quantity corresponding to the e.m.f. of the load object. The minimum value is limited to an upper value at which the commutation ability of the convertor is at least as great as the expected maximum direct current.</p> |
