A gas scrubber comprises a motor and a rotor 1 driven thereby, the rotor having alternating inclined surface portions 2 designed to cause turbulent flow of the gas and to cause this flow of gas to contact them, whereupon solid or liquid particles are retained by the surface portions. The rotor surface portions or surrounding fixed deflection surfaces may carry adsorbents, chemical reagents, catalysts, humidifying agents, perfumes or biocides to further treat the gas. <IMAGE> |
