PURPOSE:To make it possible to regenerate a reference carrier in defined phase, by phase-synchronizing an envelope signal and a discrimination signal, needed for the regeneration of a modulated wave and demodulated data signal, with a burst definitely. CONSTITUTION:On a binary-phase continuous FSK system using a modulated wave which contains a defined data single in each continuous synchronizing signal block for communication in a burst mode or in a continuous mode, linear phase modulator 2, bipolar phase modulator 3 and IF-band switch 4 perform the generation of a burst modulated wave with a carrier phase-modulated at several stages by using an envelope signal of a frequency a quarter as high as the repetitive frequency of information definitely phase-synchronizing with the signal block and a discrimination clock of a frequency a half as high as the repetitive frequency of the information. In the demodulator part, a circuit which divides the repetitive frequency of the information extracted from this modulated wave is reset at the head of the signal block in order to regenerate the discrimination clock with a signal block phase defined, thereby regenerating a reference carrier in the defined phase with phase indefiniteness removed. |
