PURPOSE:To form a color image which is clear and glossy on all surfaces to be transferred by repeatedly coating flatting ink and a plurality of color inks as one unit, then transferring flatting ink on a medium to be transferred, and then superposing the color inks thereon. CONSTITUTION:A base 1 is repeatedly coated with flatting ink 1F, and three types of color inks of yellow 1Y, magenta 1M, cyan 1C as one unit. A thermal head 101 is heated to thermally fuse the ink 1F. Thus, the fused ink 1F is fused and transferred onto a matter 102 to be transferred. Then, yellow 1Y, magenta 1M and cyan 1C are sequentially fused and transferred to coat the surface with the color image irrespective of the smoothness of the matter 102 to be transferred. |
