A flap gate structure for closing the partially submerzed entrance opening of a dock or the like consisted of a rectangular vertical transverse crosssection, a pair of fixed pins and supported pieces mounted on the water gate door body and was free from leakage, stable in dynamic aspects when the water gate door body was erected against the respective pins on their side toward the bank wall.
