<p>The hinge is for a kitchen cabinet door which has a combined pivoting and sliding action, and which hides the front of a built in oven when not in use. When the oven is required, the door fits in a recess at the side. The cabinet (11) has a set of hinges (27, 28) top and bottom of the door (16). A sliding element is fixed to the door. In use, the door swings open on the hinges to clear the cabinet, then slides parallel to the cabinet face and finally swings back to fit in its recess.</p> |
