ELECTRONIC HOUR STRIKING CIRCUIT

PURPOSE:To achieve the reduction of test time by putting an arbitrary frequency signal at the test point thereby so setting the striking sound period pulse signals that they become of suitable striking sound intervals. CONSTITUTION:Audio signals are drawn out from a specified stage by dividing down the reference frequency signal. From the stage after that specified stage, striking sound period pulse signals are drawn out. Hour striking sounds are produced by the hour striking sound signals obtainable from the audio signals and the striking sound period pulse signals and the hour striking sound number is controlled based on the output number of the striking sound period pulse singnals. A test point is provided between the frequency dividing stage from which the audio signals are drawn and the frequency dividing stage from which the striking sound period pulse signals are drawn out. By putting the test signal of a high frequency to this point, the striking sound period pulse signals of a period shorter than the period of the intrinsic striking sound period pulse signals are formed. Thereby, the time of performing the operation test of logic circuits may be shortened.
