The cable feedthrough consists of a tube whose innder diameter is greater than the diameter of the cable and whose length is greater than the wall's thickness. A collar, threaded on its inside surface, screws onto one end of the collar and is compressed axially by a flanged collar that screws into the end of the plain collar. The sealing ring expands radially when compressed axially and forms a seal between the plain collar and the cable. The tube has longitudinal ribs on its outer surface to anchor it to the wall preventing it rotating.
