Fuel metering and atomising unit - has conical suction element directing fuel on conical face of atomiser and both driven by variable motors

The arrangement for metered atomising of liqs. is esp. for fuel, to produce a fuel/air mixture in the intake of a combustion engine. A rotating conical suction element (1) is driven by a variable-speed electric motor (2) via a shaft (3) inside a hollow shaft (4). This connects a second variable-speed motor (5) with the atomiser body (6). The element throws the fuel on to the outer surface (7) of the body from the surface of the element or via bores (8) having taken the fuel from the supply line (10) via its hub (9). The element and body may be in one piece and driven by a single motor.
