The object of this method is to allow the pulling of proofs permitting possible checking and correcting of photogravure prints without having to use, for pulling the proofs, the definitive photogravure printing press. A frame (2) is applied to the surface of the photosensitive layer of an unexposed offset plate (1); a continuous-tone photogravure printing film (3) is applied to the surface of the frame; the plate (1) is exposed to light, on the side containing the film (3), so as to reproduce the image of the film on the plate, the plate is developed so as to produce a printing forme and this forme is used to pull a proof intended to permit the checking and correcting of the photogravure print. <IMAGE> |
