The silage cutter for attachment to a foreloader has a series of auger spindles (34) with a common drive. The spindles are mounted on a support attached to the bucket of the preloader. The augers (34) are mounted along the top edge of the back wall of the bucket. They project out from the back wall in the same direction as the bucket bottom.
