The brush-manufacturing machine incorporates a bristle pick-up unit, a fusing unit, a welding unit and at least one bristle tuft gripper. The gripper consists of a plate on which are sockets. A magazine rotates and is positioned in the welding unit for receiving several brush bases. The magazine has several stands with bars for the brush bases stacked on top of one another. The pick-up unit has a holder for the second to bottom brush base and pickup units for the bottom most brush base already provided with bristles.
