<p>The treatment aid is for veinous ailments of the legs, e.g. varicose veins. It comprises rolls of wadding of various lengths and diameters, used to compress the veins and prevent collapse. The leg (1) is generally compressed in an elastic stocking. The varicose veins (2, 2') are locally compressed by the rolls of wadding which are installed in the stocking to apply pressure at the right places along the course of the varicose veins.</p> |
