PURPOSE:To eliminate the optical discontinuation between the photoelectric convertors without using plural image forming optical systems in case the viewfield is increased by means of plural photoelectric convertors. CONSTITUTION:Pattern 2 is given to subject 1 to be read out, and the upper half of pattern 2 is set as 1st viewfield 2a with the lower half set as 2nd viewfield 2b respectively. And the junction point of these two viewfields is referred to as C. Pattern 2 is irradiated by the light given from the light source not shown in the diagram, and the reflected light L reaches semitransparent mirror 4 via lens 3 to be divided into 1st reflected light L1 from viewfield 2a and reflected light L2 from viewfield 2b respectively centering on junction point C. Light L1 and L2 reach 1st and 2nd photoelectric convertors 5 and 6 provided at the respective image forming positions, where viewfields 2a and 2b undergo the photoelectric conversion. Thus, the magnified pattern 2 can read out. |
