PURPOSE:To secure an easy balance adjustment of the branching circuit by means of the single measurement instrument. CONSTITUTION:The reference signal of the reference pulse duration sent from measurement instrument ME2 of remote side unit SR2 is received via self-unit SR1 and reception terminal RD, and then the auxiliary signal featuring the different pulse duration to the reference signal is transmitted through SR1. The transmission and reception of these signals is performed via the branching circuit network provided at the line side of unit SR1 and SR2. Measurement instrument ME1 decides the balance condition of the branching circuit network based on the timing relation between these signals, and at the same time the lamp glows or blinks. Accordingly, in case the lamp blinks because of the defective balance condition, the variable impedance of the branching circuit network is adjusted until the lamp glowing is maintained. Thus, the optimum balance condition is obtained. |
