TRANSMISSION POWER CONTROL SYSTEM

PURPOSE:To make the quality of a communication circuit nearly uniform and to reduce the power consumption of a satellite repeater by generating a power control signal to a relevant slave station according to the quality of a line estimated from the quality of the connection control signal and the quality of a signal returned to its own base station. CONSTITUTION:A connection control signal sent from a slave station being an object of monitor is selected from an output of a connection control signal separation circuit 21 by a signal selection circuit 28 and given to a signal monitor circuit 27. The signal monitor circuit 27 executes the estimate calculation of the line quality as to the communication between slave stations not being direct communication party with a base station. The estimated line quality is given to quality monitor circuit X5 (not shown) as quality monitor information via an interface 28. The quality monitor circuit calculates the transmission power optimum for the base station and the slave stations and sends the result to each slave station.
