Picker for strawberry plants - which are oriented and discharged by centrifuge to conveyor before passing to counting and bundling stations

Plants are fed singly through a funnel to a centrifuge which throws them out to one or other of two belt conveyors. The larger plants pass to the upper conveyor. Leaves and runners are removed by a cutter, and the plants are counted before collecting at a partition. When the required number of plants have arrived at the partition a jack is operated to discharge them for bundling and then removal on a conveyor.
