The pesticide contains, as active substance component, a novel compound of the formula: <IMAGE> in which R1 denotes a lower alkyl group or a phenyl group, each of which can have one to five substituents, R2 denotes a lower alkyl group, A denotes an alkyl group, an alkenyl group, an alkynyl group, a haloalkyl group, a phenyl group, a cyanoalkyl group, a lower alkylthioalkyl group, a haloalkenyl group, a lower alkoxyalkyl group, a lower alkoxycarbonylalkyl group, a lower alkylcarbamoylalkyl group or a phenylalkyl group, it being possible for the benzene ring to have one to five substituents, and X denotes an oxygen or sulphur atom. These compounds are effective as pesticides for the prevention and the control of two or more types of plant diseases. They are prepared by reacting an amidophosphate of the formula: <IMAGE> with an isothiocyanate of the formula R2OCONCS.
