<p>The disposable blood separation bag is made of plastic and is used for taking up blood from the exsanguination cut in animals or via a cannula from the blood vessel for the purpose of sterile preparation of blood serum. The body of the bag consists of two plastic films connected by means of weld seams and is provided, at opposite ends, with attachment means for a suspension device (17) for hanging the bag up in the opposite direction. The bag is subdivided by weld seams (6, 7) into three sections, namely a filling funnel (1), which also contains a removable sampling tube (10), a collecting container (2) for the blood serum, and a receiving container (3) for the blood and, after its coagulation, for the coagulum. This third section is in turn subdivided by vertical separating walls (4) into at least two communicating chambers, which are connected to the second section (2) via a filtering means. <IMAGE></p> |
