Display luminosity improvement device - uses filter made from thin layer of varnish for required transmission spectrum and placed before internal light source

Between a light source and a display a filter is incorporated. The filter has a transmission spectrum similar to the emission spectrum of the display. The filter may be a thin layer of varnish of appropriate composition for presenting the required transmission spectrum. The layer is deposited directly on the front part of the display envelope or the front part of the envelope may be made of a material which will produce a same effect. A contrast is thus created between emitting surfaces and non-emitting surfaces whatever the ambient light conditions are.
