Fabrication of transport container from insulated panels - uses edge frame to jig panels for introduction of bonding agent in joints

In the system a prefabricated frame is utilised to locate the edges of the panels (11, 13) in their correct relationship. A jointing material is then introduced into the voids between the panel ends. Tolerance problems with panel dimensions are avoided. The frame members align on the arrisses of the finished container and delineate the planes that the panels occupy. The jointing material may be introduced in a liq. form whence hardening is provoked. Seals may be placed at the joints between the panels and the frame members in prepn. for jointing, and the frame may be removed after jointing or be built onto the container.
