A frame supports a first conveyor which feeds containers to the machine. A set of parallel bars are displaced above this conveyor and an adjacent platform to lead the containers to the end of the platform below a taker head. Cases to receive the containers from the head travel on a second conveyor. Openings on one side of the frame receive the conveyors and the platform to permit fitting and removal of them from the same side of the frame. Rotation of a star wheel above the first conveyor displaces the bars to limit the number of containers coming between them.
