The hull has straight sloping sides (2) sliding at the base in a chine (4) which may extend to the stern of the vessel. The flat surface (3) extends over the length of the hull on either side of the keel. The hull is fitted with twin parallel fins (7) located at the chines (4) and a similar central fin (8) is located at the stern, allowing the vessel to rest on an even keel when aground.
