Each machine tool has its own thyristor static convertor, using thyristor units with at least two thyristors in an insulating case. Terminals are provided on the case top side. The thyristor units (1) for at least two convertors (5, 6) are on the same side of a plate (4) provided with cooling ribs (41). They are connected by bars (53-55) in the terminal (a-c) plane to the required convertors (5, 6). The plate is fitted to the rear side of the housing and electronic groups are fitted to the inner side of the front door.
