<p>The system controls the quantity of ink printed on a strip of material by a screen-printing machine. During the printing operation, the quantity of ink, dye etc., printed on the material is measured at a point on the latter, and compared with a value representing the desired quantity. Any discrepancy causes operation of an adjusting part affecting one or more of the factors regulating the quantity applied. Typically the scraper angle and/or pressure can be altered, or the setting of a part controlling the level in front of the scraper.</p> |
