<p>A coffee mill or similar kitchen equipment is used where switching of the motor is dependent on two positive points of pressure, one derived from the downward movement of a cover or dome. The switch arrangement minimises the possibility of wear due to age allowing the motor to be switched on by one positive action only. The switch activated by the mill cover acts due to the movement of a triangular cam surface on its lower edge over a rod moved downwards against a spring. The second pressure is on a strip whose action is dependent on that of the cover operated electrodes.</p> |
