<p>In the production of electric stack or layer capacitors, which capacitors are produced, in part, by sawing through a mother capacitor, a polyolefin layer is placed on the mother capacitor prior to cutting in order to provide lubrication during cutting and in order to improve the insulation at the cutting edges. The invention is advantageously employed in the production of layer capacitors having polyethylene terephthalate layers as the dielectric.</p> |
