The domestic heating burner suction box is for gun burners. The top, bottom and three sides of the box form one airtight unit. The fourth (front) side is loose, secured by self-tapping screws using a foam-strip sealing. The top half of the box forms a plenum chamber, divided from the lower containing the burner by a 2cm thick (Viledon) filter. The chamber has an air inlet with a top-hinged inward opening flap. Projecting inlet edges ensure that the flap seats before dropping to the vertical.
