<p>The equipment stores thread-type material such as yarn, wire, strip etc, having a cylindrical body on which the material is wound and accommodating internally items such as a magnet to transmit the drive, and a mechanism to regulate the axial length of a wound layer. The items are accommodated in a clamping member, partly or wholly of plastic, holding them in position, and inserted in the body.
