The cover strip for the interior ribs of the car has a double edge strip with one edge curved over 90 deg. and the other edge (8) curved for more than 90 deg. The edges grip each side of the rib (5) without any additional fasteners. The strips are mouled in one operation and can include bracing spring strips. For window frames the strips form a locating edge for the insert channels (2) for the window edges. The plastic strips reduce injury risk inside the vehicle.
