Domestic oven vapour eliminator - is in form of after burner with spiral heating coil under fine mesh grid inside cup shaped housing

The steam, vapour and smoke eliminator for a domestic oven, which acts as an after burner, has a cap shaped body (1) which is located in the path of the steam, with a helical heating coil (2) inside. Inside the body, and above the coil is a fine mesh grid (3) of chromium nickel steel wire. This mesh is heated by the coil to a temperature of about 700 deg.C to a red glow. The steam, vapours etc. are eliminated as they pass through the mesh of the grid, thus eliminating smells and dirt from the kitchen.
