The heat pump which may be used to heat a living room has a gas tight casing (2) with a burner (10) underneath a boiler (4) at the bottom. The flue gas outlet (32) is on the centre line underneath the condenser (5), absorber (6), a storage unit (7) and an evaporator (8) arranged successively above. The flue gases then pass upwards through the middle of these units successively, and to atmosphere. In line with the path of the flue gases travelling upwards through the middle is a tube (15) at the top, enclosing an extractor fan (16). A bottom air inlet (25) and side inlet (26) have swinging dampers (27, 28) which can be controlled by an adjusting unit (23) in the room. The fan can be controlled by a carbon dioxide sensor (24) in the room, and an outside temperature sensor (22).
|
