<p>A liq. crystal cell for alphanumerical signs and picture symbol display is distinguished by the fact that it can be heated by resistors. The cell(1) can be heated by a flat electrical resistor(8). This ensures that it can operate at temperatures below 0 deg.C. The liq. crystal layer (5) can be installed between glass plates(3, 7), the flat resistor being positioned on at least one of the plates. The resistor(1) can be heated by a resistance wire serving also to illuminate it.</p> |
