发明名称 MANUFACTURING APPARATUS FOR METAL COMPOSITE WIRE
摘要 PURPOSE:To raise yield in an apparatus by which plural metal filaments are welded or soldered by electrical energization by promptly grasping the quality of junction by providing a bending stress-loading device on a part or whole of the interface of the composite wire after electrode rings. CONSTITUTION:The filaments of the base metal 1 and the clad metal 2, which are coming out of a coiler, are welded by the electrode ring 4 to form the composite wire 4, and the composite wire is, prior to winding around the coiler 6, subjected to a bending test in which a maximum bening stress is applied in the neighborhood of the tapered portions 7a and 7b in the interface of the composite wire by a pair of the upper and lower rolls 9 and 10 whose uniting sectional shapes in the axial direction are V-shape and U-shape by means of the bending tool 8. In addition, it is formed, if necessary, into flat wire by the forming roll 5 and then coiled around the coiler 6. Thus, the quality of the function by welding can be grasped in line to raise the yield of production.
