The supply circuit, for several fluorescent tubes, has each tube or each group of tubes that forms a unit, e.g. a figure, a letter, etc. within the advertisement sign connected along with a current limiter (3) to the supply transformer's secondary. Each tube and its limiter acts as a separate circuit. All such separate circuits are connected in parallel to the same supply transformer. The current limiters consist of resistors or reactive components singly or in series and/or parallel. The impedances of these limiters can be varied and may act individually as self-regulating circuits.
