Automatic washer feeding fresh water via emptying pump - cleans pump wheel and prevents unused detergent going to waste

A lint and dirt filter housing together with its lint filter are made unnecessary in a washing machine having a feeder for the detergent into the washing liquor container, a fresh water feed and a pump for emptying the container. The fresh water feed pipe goes via the liquor pump into the container and whilst washing the pump wheel, it ensures also that no unused powder is wasted into the drain. Branch pipes for the fresh water may lead into the container and to the device for putting in the soap powder according to programme.
