The table is used on a machine for sawing steel or non-iron metals. The table incorporates a first plate which is mounted on levers which can pivot on the frame of the sawing machine. A number of eccentrics are mounted on the first plate which form a three point support for a second plate. The sawn-off material is supported on this second plate. When the eccentrics lower the second plate, its weight is taken up by weighing devices. The output of these devices is used to adjust the stop for the material to be cut.
