<p>PURPOSE:To considerably reduce equipment and operational costs by treating a gas contg. malodorous components due to animal or vegetable matter with a soln. contg. a hypochlorite under a specific temp. condition. CONSTITUTION:A gas contg. malodorous components generated in a process for drying dung of livestock with a rotary drier, etc. is introduced into the lower part of washing tower 2 with blower 1 and contacted to a treating soln. circulated with pump 5 at 40-95, pref. 50-60 deg.C to remove the malodorous components. The above soln. contains 10-2000, esp. 20-200 ppm of a hypochlorite such as sodium hypochlorite and has a pH value of 8-11, esp. 9.5-10.5.</p> |
