COFFEE MAKER

A coffee maker comprising a housing which can be closed by a cover at the top, and a filter device which is situated underneath the cover. The invent on relates to the cover which is hingeably connected to the housing and which is provided with a receptacle for receiving condensation water in the raised position of the cover. In the closed position of the cover the condensation water flows into the filtering device. In accordance with an alternative construction the condensation water flows back into the main water reservoir. Furthermore, openings may be formed in the cover for the passage of steam.
